    2. If you are connected for five concurrent hours the system will disconnect you. You may then reconnect.

  5. How do I transfer my existing account to a new or second computer?

    You simply would follow the instructions on our connection page to setup your second computer as you did with your current computer.

    Important: Remember you can place your dial-up account on as many computers in your home as you need. However, you can only have one concurrent connection at a time. If you need two computers on (connected to the internet) at the same time you will need to either;

    1. Purchase a second dial-up connection
    2. Initiate internet sharing on your network. (We do not provide technical support for internet sharing.)

  6. What is the local access phone number? Is it toll free?

    A local access phone number is a local phone number we provide in your local calling area. To find out what your local access phone number use our access number finder.
    Please follow the instructions on the linked page above to test for a local call.
    You can always verify a local call by dialing the access number as you would a voice call. If you hear a "data screech" then your all set. If you hear an operator message about long distance, try another access number. Also remember that many areas are now requiring you to dial ten digits (area code plus the seven digit number).
