  1. What is the limit of messages I can receive in my mailbox?

The standard mailbox is limited to 3MB of storage space. However, when you read your email in most email clients (when setup properly) the email is downloaded to your computer and deleted from the server freeing up storage space on the server.
Business accounts have a 5MB limit.

  2. We somtimes send out emails to large groups of people, is this allowed?

The short answer is yes. The long answer; we do have limits on the number of emails and frequency of sending emails out. These limits are to stop spamming on our system.
The limits we have imposed are usually adequate for most legitimate emailers, but, far too limiting for spammers. If you are having problems sending newsletters etc. contact TechHelp

  5. When I send email with an attachment, such as photos, I keep getting an error. My Outlook Express tells me that there was no response for sixty seconds from my pop server and that the email is not sent. This does not happen if their is no attachments.

I suspect it is Norton or McAfee antivirus. To check, do the following: Go into your antivirus program options, turn off outgoing email scanning ONLY, make sure you leave "incoming mail" scanning ON. Restart your computer, then: Send an attachment to someone. Odds are it will go out fine. In almost every case this error comes from updating your antivirus software or a miss configuration of it. It can happen even if you have had no problems for a long time, something just goes wrong. When you send email, the antivirus scans the attachment. If the attachments are large (like photos) if it does not scan it within the "timeout" period you will get that error. If you find that the antivirus program is causing your problem, you will need to contact the manufacture antivirus support team to assist you in resolving the issue. If you don't have an antivirus software running, then, it is most likely you have a virus or worm causing the error. If this is the case you will need to purchase an antivirus software and clean your system.
